Turf Wire is a free agent marketplace for indoor soccer, run by MNK Solutions LLC in Oregon. This page says what we collect, why, and who sees it.
What we collect
- Your email address, to sign you in and to send the notices described below.
- A display name you choose, and how visible you want it.
- Your phone number, only if you add one.
- A profile photo, only if you upload one. Other signed-in players can see it. Removing it deletes it.
- Your birth year, if you want to claim spots. Leagues have age brackets and we check them. We never ask for a full date of birth.
- Positions you play and the availability flags you set.
- Your teams, claims, RSVPs, and whether you showed up to games you claimed.
Who sees what
Contact details are the sensitive part, so the rule is strict: your email and phone number are shared only after a claim is approved, and only between you and the other side of that claim. They never appear in lists, search results, or anyone else's page.
Managers deciding your claim see your display name, age (never your birth year itself), positions, and attendance record. Leaderboards are on unless you turn them off on your profile, and saying no always keeps you off them.
Everything we send is about your account or your games: sign-in links, claim decisions, spot changes, and callups about open spots. Callups stop when you mute a team or turn off free agent on your profile. There is no marketing email and no newsletter.
Cookies
One session cookie keeps you signed in. There are no analytics, no trackers, and no third-party cookies.
Where your data lives
The application and database run on Fly.io in the United States. Email is delivered through Resend. Both process data on our behalf and get only what the message or the request needs.
What we never do
- Sell your data, or share it with anyone outside the flows above.
- Show ads.
- Write your email, phone, or full name into our logs.
- Allow accounts for anyone under 18.
Deleting your data
Email support@turfwire.app and we erase your personal data. Records other people rely on, like a game's attendance tally, are kept without your identity attached.
